This text will appear on the main page.The H2020 SOCIO-BEE project aims to encourage citizens to take an active role in the fight against climate change through citizen science using disruptive technologies such as drones and wearables articulated by a framework called AcadeMe. More specifically, Socio-Bee aims to involve different segments of citizens (young people under 16 years of age, older adults over 65 years, and people who commute by car or through public transport in large cities or suburbs) in different scientific endeavors.

Would you like to share with us any additional information? (Max 300 words)Include the final users (in our case citizens from different age ranges and digital literacy) in the design of the technology from the very beginning. In essence, do not wait to test the technology with them once it is developed, but include them in a co-design process.
Inclusive technology is core for the project, so all the ICT assets produced in SOCIO-BEE should agree with a set of inclusion criteria created by experts in the project.
Co-creation in SOCIO-BEE is only understood when the citizens and policy-makers collaborate to design digital tools but also to they should maintain them in the long run. Thus, co-creation does not only include people brainstorming about new ideas, but they should create services that can be exploitable and usable for others.
