Introduction

The digital ambition, the mission and vision of Living-in.eu is more alive than ever: create a cohesive, digital Europe where every city and community can enjoy the economic and social benefits of green and digital transformation. Living-in.eu supports and accelerates the European way of digital and green transformation by engaging cities and communities at the European level to develop, (re-) use and share trustworthy solutions, technology, and standards.

It is now time to take a step forward in building the European way of digital transformation for 300 million Europeans by 2025. A strong foundation has been developed based on the work already done. Go Li.EU addresses the call DIGITAL-2021-DEPLOY-01-LIVING-EU (hereinafter, the call) and wants to speed this process up in line with the European ambition, strategy, legislation, projects and 2030 goals of the Digital Decade.

Living-in.eu has three main assets so far: the community, the platform, and the way of working. These assets have been developed during the past 4 years by the voluntary contribution of most of the consortium partners, the Steering Board and the involvement of the European Commission and Committee of the Regions. The Living-in.EU platform was developed during the last two years. This platform supports both the Living-in.EU public and closed collaboration community by providing relevant and current content about commitments, iconic projects, ambassadors, publications and events.
